Enjoyment is the antidote to stress!

Enjoyment is the antidote to stress.

Tempo, the somatic element of enjoyment, is all about enthusiasm, vitality, motivation, pleasure, gratitude, optimism, humour, joy, and fun.

It creates more flow in our lives helping us to expand out of singular focus back into creativity, vitality, and ideas. By empowering yourself to have more fun, you will create more harmony in your leadership and human relations for a balanced life.

On the road to achieving our dreams, in the world of today, we all experience burnout because we are so focused on accomplishing the end goal.

Think about it…when we went from washing the laundry with our hands to developing washing machines, we wanted to free ourselves from what felt like a chore to enjoying life more. That was the whole purpose, right?

So, as tech simplifies our lives, why do we fill every new moment with more ‘stuff? What happens when our and society’s focus is constantly on more efficiency, more productivity, the need to achieve and have more? Is there a limit to it?

Doing becomes an addiction.

Because when we start running so fast and so hard, it becomes an addiction. It’s hard to stop. And when we do, we feel guilty for doing nothing. And let me tell you, cloud watching is the best. Being, feeling, presence… that’s where the magic is. Do you know how to shut off your thinking?

Many of us want to stop and enjoy life more but our bodies have become so addicted to the rhythm and tempo of DOING that we lose our natural flow and our BEING. We lose creative spaciousness and the availability to connect with others. We don’t make time to fill ourselves up with sensations gained from enriching experiences.

The colors, tastes, and deliciousness of life aren’t as vibrant because it’s too jam-packed. We shut them down to have more focus.

It begs the question, when did we get to the point where we deleted the function of enjoyment from our bodies, and instead chose to work ourselves to death?

Kids are wired for play and fun.

They cry if you don’t let them play. They got it right!

We don’t think of enjoyment and play as important for our emotional resilience, but it’s what keeps us in a more balanced state. It’s actually essential to it.

Do you wish to learn HOW to turn that innate enjoyment back on? Do you wish to generate vitality rather than deplete it? Do you wish to have better emotional resilience?

YES!?

Great! Because enjoyment is an essential part of our resilience. It allows us to release emotions from the body, relax and let go, and flood our bodies with yummy endorphins. Rather than feel anxiety, burnout, helplessness, depletion, and face mental health issues, we can replenish through playfulness, pleasure, and the erotic – as Esther Perel mentioned in her article “Why Eroticism Should be Part of your Self-Care plan.”

So, are you ready to learn how to get to a natural high? Don’t miss the lesson of the Tumbao.  Wait till you experience the fun…

Life is meant to be lived and enjoyed.
