How-to be with & move through uncomfortable emotions

“Solfeggio frequencies make up the ancient 6-tone scale thought to have been used in sacred music, including the beautiful and well-known Gregorian Chants. The chants and their special tones were believed to impart spiritual blessings when sung in harmony. Each Solfeggio tone is comprised of a frequency required to balance your energy and keep your body, mind, and spirit in perfect harmony.”

You can read more about them here

Throughout this program, we’ve used background music from the Solfeggio frequencies to enhance your experience and learning, and bring you back to harmony. Each track is selected based on what we want to ground in you and help you tap into.

In the following meditation, I have asked Alpha Therapy to use one of their tracks to help you experience a journey through your body, emotions, and sensations. This is designed to help you learn how to move through emotions that are uncomfortable, and how to process them. The biggest challenge with my executive coaching clients is always to get them used to BEING with their most uncomfortable emotions, to just be with them. The more you are able to be with these emotions, the more you process and release them.

Please use a headset using both earbuds for a full experience.

Once you come off this beautiful internal journey, please journal what you experienced and any insights you had. Pay attention to what is hard and easy for you to be with, where you feel resistance, flow, expansion, contraction, etc. You might also notice specific thoughts, images, or memories arise. This is completely natural.

It is highly recommended to experience such a session live when possible. What you’ll see in the following video is what happens to the water inside your own body when you are in the room experiencing these different sounds. The frequencies move inside you whatever is stuck or frozen, bringing you back to a natural flow.

Remember: not all feelings will be comfortable and that’s OK. Feeling them will allow you to process them developing a higher emotional resilience. I invite you on a deeply insightful journey. Let’s get started!

For those of you who don’t know the chakras well, I am going to mention the heart and third eye chakras in the meditation. Use the chart below to locate them on your body before you get started. You can put your hand on your heart chakra to help you during the meditation feel into it. You can use two fingers on your third eye chakra to help you feel into it. As the exercise tells you to open and focus on one of these chakras, imagine a little window opening up in that area and light coming out of it. Let the sounds of the instruments move through this open window. If you are a beginner, it might take some practice before you  feel that you’ve got it, which is normal. Just repeat again and again, until you get there. The more you do it, the easier and more inflow it will become. And don’t forget to let go of the stress of getting it perfectly; treat it as a curious exploration.

One final pointer: Wherever you are starting, it’s perfect. Some of you might find this exercise soothing while others will find it triggering. For those of you who find it soothing, it will greatly help you process your emotions and work through them. For those of you who find it triggering, you will be challenged to develop a strong and healthy habit of learning to be with your emotions so you can process them. If you are getting triggered by this exercise pick I invite you to one of the soothing ones in this chapter.
