Note: For those of you who feel that the speed of moving from your mind to your base in the body is too rushed, I recommend picking a soundtrack you like, and just spending some time practicing visualizing this at a slower pace that works for you. You can imagine first just moving the energy from the head to the chest, and spending time just getting used to it. Then from the chest to the stomach, and then absorb it. And ultimately from the stomach to the base.
If you just can’t get to your base, this is OK, too. It means you need more processing of your emotions through the process of witnessing and the practice of meditation before you’ll be able to fully drop into your base. This is really important wisdom that your body is sharing with you.
